Shadow Shot Sunday

This is where I go when I visit my
Virginia cousins. What you don't see

here are the horses behind that fence and a
beautiful lake. What you do see: shadows!

  1. So bucolic; just the spot for a picnic on the grass. And about as far away as you could get from the asphalt jungle. Or is it?

    Oh, those aromas—hay; home-cooking wafting enticingly out of the kitchen. Saddle leather. Horse lineament. I just can’t get enough of it. Well, that depends on what it is.

  2. Bucolic is the perfect description! I'm glad there are horses ~ they must love these idyllic surrounds. {PS: I've sent you an email, ma chère...}

  3. Such glorious countryside! Love the greens and the sunlight and the trees and shadows and the meandering fence line!
