Shadow Shot Sunday

I love the European Sculpture Court at the Met—
and the shadows are a definite bonus.

  1. i recognised the Met striaght away as I have some shadow shots from here - the way the light streams into that space is great isn't it??

  2. No people! At this moment, at least, it looks like a tranquil place.

    SHADOW, SHADOW

    Shadow, shadow, if I could,
I would meet you in the wood,
    Where the frenzied fairies play
In the blazing light of day.

But, dear shadow, I dare not
    Go to that secluded spot,
For I fear the woodland path
And what’s more, the fairies’ wrath!

  3. Nice picture, one gets like transported in time - a morning in a Roman patio or something like that :-)

  4. I love the grid that the shadows cast. Very dramatic.

    Peace!

  6. I love this place. Would I live in NY, I'll first of all buy a yearly pass to the Met!
