i recognised the Met striaght away as I have some shadow shots from here - the way the light streams into that space is great isn't it??
No people! At this moment, at least, it looks like a tranquil place.SHADOW, SHADOWShadow, shadow, if I could,I would meet you in the wood,Where the frenzied fairies playIn the blazing light of day. But, dear shadow, I dare notGo to that secluded spot,For I fear the woodland pathAnd what’s more, the fairies’ wrath!© 2011 by Magical Mystical TeacherFrosty Shadows Haiku
Nice picture, one gets like transported in time - a morning in a Roman patio or something like that :-)
I love the grid that the shadows cast. Very dramatic. Peace!
At first glance, I thought of a life-sized chess board. Nice photo!
I love this place. Would I live in NY, I'll first of all buy a yearly pass to the Met!
Thanks, merci, grazie, danke, hvala, gracias, spasibo, shukran, dhanyavaad, salamat, arigato, and muito obrigado for your much-appreciated comments.
