Thursday Challenge—"open space" (#2)

Here's the funniest street performer I've
ever seen.  He was doing his shtick
—mostly involving messing with the people
walking through the piazza (Santa Maria in Trastevere,
in Rome).  Here he's about to try to catch a
kid with that silly butterfly net.
(The kid thought it was funny too.)

Thursday Challenge — "fire"

This young woman, on Campo Santo Stefano,
in Venice, had gathered quite a good crowd,
and she was whipping those fire batons around her.
I thought it was just beautiful.

That's My World

I saw this guy (and his two friends) last year in Union Square and
have been hoping to find them again ever since.  Finally encountered
them near Bethesda Fountain, in Central Park. At the end of

their very engaging tumbling act, after jumping over the adorable
and cooperative small child he then jumps over four adults at once!

lunch "break"

These guys were entertaining the lunchtime
crowd hanging out on the steps of the
library one day this past week.
I hope they made a few bucks, because
they were giving it their all!

playing with fire

Actually took this in Venice last summer.
Aaah, Venezia—I'll be back there
in two weeks (woo-hoo)!
