whirling dervish

Last week was Fashion Week here in NYC,
and one day I encountered three photo shoots on my 
morning commute over the Brooklyn Bridge.
This model reminded me of a whirling dervish . . .

she was beautiful, graceful, and fierce.

I shot a shoot

I came across this photo shoot in the
Palais Royal.  The photographer
made good use of the Buren columns and the
beautiful late-afternoon light and shadows.
(There was probably some post-production
work—I photoshopped a stray person
out of this picture myself.)
