My friend Frank

He started life as a barn cat, then moved into my
cousin's house, and now lives with our good
friends near Charlottesville.  Wherever he is, if 
I show up he chooses to bunk with me.
Do I feel special?  You bet!

Well, I thought this was interesting enough
to pull out my camera and snap a picture.
But hardly anyone else in the vicinity
was giving this guy and his well-balanced
friend a second glance.  That's NYC for you.

abc wednesday — C is for "cat"

This is one of the fierce feral cats of Florence and
it looks like she's been in one fight too many.
Really amazing that she let me get this close.

Thursday Challenge: Rest

Why is one of these resting kitties not like the others?

Is it because I know the names of three of them  (Frank,

Buddy, and Stubby) but not the fourth?   No.

Is it because three are sleeping and one is yawning?  No.

Is it because when they get up from their nap, three of

them just want a bowl of cat chow and the fourth wants

to eat . . . you?  Ummm, maybe.
