I've shown this church here before, both the inside and the outside—but St.-Etienne-du-Mont (my once-upon-a-time parish church) deserves lots of encores. [To see more churches from around the world, go here.] |

ABC Wednesday—E is for "early"
And also for "empty": Parisians seem to sleep in a bit on Saturday morning, so when I'm there I like to get up early and wander the unpopulated streets. I do see someone sitting on the terrace of that little corner café—probably another "visitor" like me. [To see more ABC posts, go here.] |

Thursday Challenge — "empty"
Parisians must like to sleep in on Saturday morning. We're looking up the rue St. Etienne du Mont and as you can see from the clock in the bell tower, it's after 9. Hey, I'd been up for 3 hours already! (Granted, this is not a well=traveled street, but really, I had the Latin Quarter all to myself.) [To see more of the Thursday Photo Challenge, go here.] |
