Thursday Challenge—"celebration" (#2)

To celebrate the holidays, every year La De Da,
a unique clothing (and more) store
in Roanoke, Va., features a handmade and
one-of-a-kind candy/couture creation
(and how about those garlands?).  Here's this
year's offering (and here's last year's).

And the whole thing is edible!

  1. One might go into sugar shock eating a dress like that. Interesting post.

  2. That is so cool. And they even have a couple of the Indian lamps up there that inspired the design.

The shop looks so comfortable in a homey, beatnik-back-to-the-gentrified-land kind of way. For some reason, my eyes were drawn to the paper umbrellas.

  3. One might go into sugar shock wearing those dresses!

Thanks, merci, grazie, danke, hvala, gracias, spasibo, shukran, dhanyavaad, salamat, arigato, and muito obrigado for your much-appreciated comments.
