The Weekend in Black and White


I've featured this barn on my blog before.
Whenever I go down to visit my
cousins in Virginia, I like to go by here
and see what kind of shape it's in.
(P.S. It's getting more and more picturesque—
i.e., rundown, wabi sabi, shabby chic.)

  1. Normally that barn has a thatched roof, but it looks like some science geek in a lab hidden deep within turned on a Van de Graaff Generator

    1. A nice wabi sabi piece here. The article mentions the Alabama farmhouse interiors taken by Walker Evans such as the corner here, but look what else he photographed.
