The Weekend in Black and White

Normally, I try not to do this—that is, repeat
a photo.  But a) hey, I like this photo a lot
and b) this is the starting point for NYC's
women's march, and where I'll be today at 1 p.m.,
when those of us with names beginning
with the letter A or B get to join the march,
which will end up eventually at Trump Tower.

Watch this space.

  1. My congratulations on your participation in The March. May it be completely peaceful and involve huge numbers of women who want to support their rights. Look forward to seeing your photos from the march. I do not mind seeing this photo at all. It reminds me of the work of Eugene Atget from Paris.

    1. Thank you, TFG! I'm hoping the numbers are "yuge" as well. Message sent—we'll see if it's received.

  3. I was surprised that the photo above of March 8, 2014 that you reposted here was not taken in Paris. Atget indeed.

As you have found in NY, you are not alone. Nor are you alone in the wider world. Huge marches all over the country; all over the globe. There remains HOPE.
