emerging moon

I was coming home late from work one
night last week and saw this
(just about) half moon playing peekaboo
with the clouds.  Snapped this just
as it was emerging.

  1. Along with the phase, up close like that way you have shown it, we can really see her three-dimensionality. It is great how the clouds have patinated in dark blue-gray the black onyx of the night sky. So glad you didn’t leave home without it that day—your camera, that is.

    1. Oops—thanks, TG. (Sometimes a copy editor needs a copy editor.)

  2. Very nicely composed and captured. It pays to have a camera ready at all times. Not every good image is a planned image. Have a blessed week-end.
