I was coming home late from work one night last week and saw this (just about) half moon playing peekaboo with the clouds. Snapped this just as it was emerging.
Along with the phase, up close like that way you have shown it, we can really see her three-dimensionality. It is great how the clouds have patinated in dark blue-gray the black onyx of the night sky. So glad you didn’t leave home without it that day—your camera, that is.
