ABC Wednesday—N is for "neighborhood"

I live in "brownstone Brooklyn," but not
in one of these old beauties.  I opted
instead for a prewar apartment building: waaay
more closet space but—unfortunately—no
stoop (I'm a big fan of these imposing stoops).

  1. Only city dwellers know about neighborhoods and how important they are. These old brown stones are beautiful. FIne photo.

    1. In the show they lived in Brooklyn, but the actual house they showed at the beginning of each episode is in Manhattan, in the West Village. (And so is Carrie's building on Sex and the City, even though she lived on the Upper East Side.)

  4. Interesting architecture, reminds me of setting for many USA sit coms,
I was going to mention Bill Crosby but in the light of the on-going
criminal/court proceedings, I thought, better of it.
Quite sad really, I used to love that show.

    Best wishes,
    Di.
