Notre Dame Shadows

I was the third person to enter Notre Dame on a recent Saturday morning
(before 8 a.m.). These shadows were the least of the wonders I found there
(and without the usual hordes, I was actually able to appreciate them)!

[It's Shadow Shot Sunday. To see more, go here.]

  1. The shadows are lined up like the chairs. Nice shot.

  2. Well these are some outstanding shadows! I LOVE this photo! So the trick is to arrive there nice and early? I must remember that should I ever be lucky enough to visit :)

  4. Who knew that a snapshot of the shadows of chairs lined up all in rows could be such a great shot! Very cool!

  5. Thanks to jet lag, you were up early enough to have this very rare pleasure, almost a private visit to Notre Dame !
And it gives us the pleasure of a great and unusual shot !

  7. Once again we share the same passion. I'm in love with the church chairs all over France. Lucky you to find ND quiet. Lovely, lovely photo.

BTW, today's photo was better with a wider crop but then I had another damn trash bag container. Mon Dieu!!!
