Welcome to Greenpoint

One of Brooklyn's great ethnic neighborhoods, where
you can get some primo pizza and the city's absolute
best kielbasa.  It's a bit off the beaten NYC transit track
and therefore still quasi affordable.  Better hurry while
that's still true.  So what's your neighborhood like?

  1. My neighborhood is not anywhere near this well provisioned!

  2. I'm looking forward to discovering Brooklyn a bit this summer--this place, too! My neighborhood has a couple of green markets, an ethnic restaurant or two, but it's not the Big Apple!

  3. Though my neighborhood doesn't sport such hip eateries and such as yours, we do have a park with walking trails. My 83 yr old neighbor (who incidentally is from Brooklyn) says it reminds him of a mini Central Park...so I'm going with the imagery and hanging on to that. ;-)

  4. uselaine -- bet yours is prettier, though.

bibi -- I'm also looking forward to you discovering Brooklyn.

coltrane -- the park surely makes up for any lack of hip eateries (I'm just lucky to have both). Wonder how your neighbor wound up there from Brooklyn.
