I love to walk around my "brownstone Brooklyn" neighborhood and see how people have decorated for the holidays. I like all the white lights on this house (and even the random leftover pumpkin)! [To see more ABC posts, go here.] |

Too easy, perhaps—but this is my 14th round of X (and the 4th "Xmas," I have to admit). I really am going to miss it when it ends in a couple of rounds, though—hard to imagine Wednesday without the ABCs. [To see more ABC Wednesday posts, go here.] |

"At Christmas, all roads lead home." —Marjorie Holmes Here's one of my hometown's most iconic symbols (still), all lit up for the holidays. ABC Wednesday—X is for "Xmas"
Yesterday I showed you some Parisian window dresser's version of Santa. Now here's my idea of a real Santa (though some small children did cry when they were parked on his lap). {BTW, I've used this X word in a previous Christmastime post—and explained why I think "Xmas" is okay.} Hope all of you who are celebrating today are having a wonderful holiday!
