ABC Wednesday—X is for "Xmas"

I love to walk around my "brownstone
Brooklyn" neighborhood and see
how people have decorated for the holidays.
I like all the white lights on this house
(and even the random leftover pumpkin)!

ABC Wednesday—X is for "Xmas"

Too easy, perhaps—but this is my

14th round of X (and the 4th
"Xmas," I have to admit).  I really
am going to miss it when it ends in a
couple of rounds, though—hard to
 imagine Wednesday without the ABCs.

ABC Wednesday—X is for "Xmas"

"At Christmas, all roads lead home."
—Marjorie Holmes

Here's one of my hometown's most iconic
symbols (still), all lit up for the holidays.  If
you're celebrating Christmas tomorrow,
I hope you're already just where you want

to be, with the people you love.

of them are "Xmas"—go here.]

ABC Wednesday—X is for "Xmas"

Yesterday I showed you some Parisian
window dresser's version of Santa.  Now here's

my idea of a real Santa (though some small
children did cry when they were parked on his lap).
{BTW, I've used this X word in a previous Christmastime
post—and explained why I think "Xmas" is okay.}
Hope all of you who are celebrating today
are having a wonderful holiday!
