Far, far away . . .


Longyearbyen doesn't just seem like the end 
—or I guess that would be the top—
of the world.  For a big-city (the one that's 
5,581 km away) girl like me, it
was both strange and wonderful, though I'd
probably go stir-crazy in 3 days.

  4. Whenever I see a signpost like this that lists a hometown I feel a mental connection.

    Wow. You were about 80% of the way to the North Pole there, whereas Oslo is only about halfway there. I’m surprised you didn’t see any UFO test runs.
