Thursday Challenge—"multicolored"

To whoever first thought of making
coloring
books for adults, I'd like
to say:  That was a really good idea!

  1. Yes, indeed! I loved as a child to draw in coloring books. It smelled so good! The smell of pencils and yellowy pages in the old coloring books. Now it is also a hobby for adults. HAPPY!

  2. Lovely colored pencils. I like the angle you shot this at.

  3. There is a lot to be said for freedom within limitations. If you choose to create your own delimitations you will no longer be a colorist but an artist.

My favorite colored pencils are Prismacolor.

By the way, what is your favorite pencil sharpener? Do you know of particularly good ones?

    1. At work, my editor's marks are made in blue pencil—and it has to be sharp. Like Diogenes with his lantern, searching for an honest man, I'm still on a quest for the perfect pencil sharpener.

  4. When I was a little girl I used a coloring book. Now I'm an adult and I do not use coloring books anymore. Maybe I'll do it again ;-)
