Thursday Challenge—"sound"

I recently showed you some of the high-flying
performers of the wonderful show Fuerza Bruta.
The music was an important part of the performance

and the drummers kept the crowd dancing
(we were already on our feet, because that's how
you experience this lively show).

  2. This image caught my eye with “brute force.”

When this page was loading I just saw the title at first and wondered how one captured “sound” in a photo. Ha! You did it well.

I clicked the link and noticed that you previously used the word “surrealism” in reference to Fuerza Bruta. That image at the link, indeed, reminded me of Salvador Dali and his cats.

It actually took me a while to realize your photo is of a drummer, the drum wrapped around his hips. Have you seen the Japanese drumming group Kodo? They do something similar with drums. Drumming used to mean something to me. Never did it professionally. Nor could have I.

Just checked out some YouTube Fuerza Bruta Wayra 1:45. I’m not sure if “https://” works on into links but it was impressive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11kGGwtC1z0
