Thursday Challenge—"trail"

Hiking in Italy's Cinque Terre:
The trail from Monterosso al Mare to Vernazza
is not the easiest one I've ever hiked and
was usually bringing up the rear, as you can see.
(I'm more of a NYC-concrete walker than an
"uphill rugged terrain" kind of girl).
If you want to see the reward at the top of
this trail, look at yesterday's post.

  1. Hari Om
Active shot - perfect! YAM x

  2. Nice picture!! I liked hikking, but never don it in Italy.

  3. Last year we were there around this time, but it was so hot (at least in the 90ties), so we didn't feel like hiking.
I did end up making a watercolor, while sipping on a cold drink at one of the restaurants patio's.
Love your photo of the view in your previous post!
Did you stay in Cingue Terre? We stayed in Lucca (an hour W. from Florence/Firenze) in a Best Western (because they have huge breakfasts and a good experience in Athens in this hotel).

Thanks, merci, grazie, danke, hvala, gracias, spasibo, shukran, dhanyavaad, salamat, arigato, and muito obrigado for your much-appreciated comments.
