Hiking in Italy's Cinque Terre: The trail from Monterosso al Mare to Vernazza is not the easiest one I've ever hiked and I
was usually bringing up the rear, as you can see.
(I'm more of a NYC-concrete walker than an
"uphill rugged terrain" kind of girl). If you want to see the reward at the top of

Nice picture!! I liked hikking, but never don it in Italy.
ReplyDeleteLast year we were there around this time, but it was so hot (at least in the 90ties), so we didn't feel like hiking.
ReplyDeleteI did end up making a watercolor, while sipping on a cold drink at one of the restaurants patio's.

Did you stay in Cingue Terre? We stayed in Lucca (an hour W. from Florence/Firenze) in a Best Western (because they have huge breakfasts and a good experience in Athens in this hotel).
