Light and Shadow

I like this shot because the buildings are in shadow
while the 59th Street bridge is bathed in brilliant light,
and it all stands out against the backdrop of
those blue-black storm clouds threatening Queens.

[It's Shadow Shot Sunday. To see more shadows, go here.

  4. Yes, that really is a great shot of the sunlit bridge behind the buildings and in contrast to them!

  5. N.Y. was my home from 70 through 1986. You have truly represented a better part of the city. Some are beautiful, even stunning, some were eyesores. Nice capture. Thank you for sharing.

  6. Very belatedly, «Louis» thanks you for this fine contribution to Sunday Bridges.

«Louis» works all weekend each weekend and it is often difficult for him to properly acknowledge those who have contributed to the meme.
