What's more sleep-inducing than slipping between crisp cotton sheets that have been freshly laundered and dried in clear mountain air? (Well, the roaring fire and the bottle of wine probably didn't hurt either.) This is Hacienda Cusin, in San Pablo del Lago, Ecuador (alt. 8,500 feet). [Today is also Shadow Shot Sunday. I so love fresh sheets dried in this way! I don't like clothes driers at all! And mountain air drying must be that extra bit special!
ReplyDeleteOh for the simple life! I'm putting a clothes line on my Christmas list right now. I can practically smell the sunshine soaked into those sheets!
ReplyDeleteI can almost smell their cleanliness !
ReplyDeleteI love the air-dried sheets. In Mobile, with our humidity, they would not dry for perhaps a week (or two!)
ReplyDeleteWhat would I give for a basket like that too!

I, too, love taking laundry pictures wherever I travel!
