    Sunlight fits into this image like pieces of an incomplete jigsaw puzzle. Not an inappropriate image considering that that lone column in this Piazza de Massimi was pieced together out of fragments from the Odeon of Domitian, it is thought.

      I had no luck in English searching for a single column in a square in Rome, so I used Google Translate to shift into Italian and found this (which I haven’t translated yet).
