This statue, in the northeast corner of the Tuileries, is called Retour de Chasse (aka Home From the Hunt), sculpted by Antonin Carlès and completed in 1888. ReplyDeleteSpeaking of deer, I believe the name of the hunter’s father was Veni. So, the photo could be said to be of Veni’s son.
