Whirlybird

One morning recently as I took my usual
walk over the Brooklyn Bridge,
I was accompanied by this police helicopter 
that circled the bridge the whole time.
It was hovering in place when I took this shot—
must say, it made me feel safe . . .
and also creeped me out.  I kept wondering
just what it was looking for.
