ABC Wednesday—X is for "X"

Well, after how many ABC rounds (I believe this
is my 8th one), it's finally come to this: X = X!
I found this one on a wall in Paris—and
it kind of reminds me of the Zentangles (but that
would be a "Z") that I draw as a form of meditation.

Guarding the Red Door

I'd love to be able to say that I shot this image,
 but it was taken in Buenos Aires earlier this year
by my daughter Lila, whose "eye" is 10 times better
than mine.  At least she was using my camera.  :~}

the weekend in black & white

The front of the building where
Serge Gainsbourg lived in Paris has
become a grafitti'd homage to the singer.
(You can see a picture of the whole thing here.)

[You can see more monochromes here.
And you can see another post from
Paris on my Paris blog, here.
