The Weekend in Black and White

This very tall plant grows in the tropical
conservatory at the botanic garden,
and it is . . . papyrus.  Who knew that's
what it looks like?  I didn't.

Here they come

I found these hanging around the conservatory
at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.  To me
they look like a fleet of colorful little drones.
