Haven't been able to get out of town lately,
so I've been doing my "leaf-peeping" on the way

to work, within sight of some spectacular buildings.

Skywatch Friday

The sun is lighting up the clouds
behind what used to be New York's tallest
building (and first skyscraper), the
Woolworth Building (in the center)—and on the
right our newest skyscraper and now tallest building,
the not-yet-completed One World Trade Center.

Skywatch Friday



And this is the tippy-top of the
New York's very first skyscraper
(aka PTDD).  And I swear I
didn't touch this shot—the sky
really was that blue.
