Shadow Shot Sunday

Deciding what to have for dinner al fresco
in Rome—it was a great meal

The Weekend in Black and White

Il barbiere di . . . no, not Seville—Roma.
Do you recognize this spot

The Weekend in Black and White

Rome can be surprisingly quiet at night—
at least in the un-touristed areas.  I love
its back streets and shadowy alleys
and feeling like I have the city all to myself.

and you may even find that you have
the Trevi Fountain all to yourself!

The street lamps cast a soft golden glow—
and sometimes a pretty cool shadow too.

Rome at Night
