abc wednesday —N is for "Not Allowed"

In Venice's Correr Museum, all manner
of things are proibito.  I'm sure I don't have

to tell you which of these rules I broke.

abc wednesday —L is for "lace"

I was fascinated by this piece
of lace that was started long ago but
never finished.  I snuck this shot in
the Correr Museum, which is dedicated
to the life and culture of Venice.

Thursday Challenge — "metal"

In the Correr Museum, in Venice, I found (and snuck
a picture of) this amazing pure sterling book cover.
Not terribly practical (imagine whipping this out on
the subway), but I love whoever made it!

And displayed beneath, check out
these solid gold bookmarks!

Shadow Shot Sunday

Found these ancient weapons in Venice's Correr Museum
(where you're not allowed to take photos—ha!).  Hard

to tell here, but they're probably 10 or 12
feet long—deadly but still, somehow, beautiful.
