I saw these colorful cakes at Bon Marche's
Grand Epicerie (elegant Paris
grocery—and more—store) last time I
was in Paris.  Am shopping there
again for a few days week and I wonder what
delights
 they'll have on display this time.

Are you thirsty?  Or I should say, T'as soif?

(First of all, the tap water's just fine.)
Or you can choose from among many, many
brands of bottled water—as in this
display at Bon Marché's Grand Épicerie.

Bon Marché

The apartment I stayed in last month 
in Paris was right across the street from the
Bon Marché department store, and I loved the
neon elements in their window displays.  No French
fashions were purchased, but we did visit
their fabulous food emporium for some baguettes,
butter, and cheese.  When in Rome Paris . . .
