ABC Wednesday—E is for "empty"


It is possible to enjoy the Piazza di Spagna
and the Spanish Steps and view of
Trinita dei Monti up above without
 the
hordes that are usually found there.
  All you
have to do is get up at dawn.

  1. That must be a mouth dropping rarity. And the street lights are still on.

    Considering the heat wave going on in Rome these days, it is possible the fountain itself is empty right now.

    I experienced dawn a few times (from the other side—not getting up at dawn) at a Tokyo “tourist” spot but I couldn’t call it empty.
