How I spent the weekend

Well, part of it anyway.  I may not have my own
yard (my personal outdoor space is a fire escape),
but I do have beautiful Prospect Park just two minutes
away (and I don't have to mow it).  On a gorgeous day
like this was, what a pleasure to lie on the grass and
just enjoy the green trees and blue, blue sky!

[Hope you'll check out my Paris blog, where
I've started posting on the first of each month.

  1. I love how you spent your day, Alexa! I frequently spend mine on the roof of my apartment building here in Seattle, so I can and do relate! Beautiful capture! Have a great weekend!

  4. Love your perspective! ;) I don't have a yard either but there is a park area around/in between the buildings where I live, with lawns and big old trees. So I can relate too.

  5. We have a Prospect Park here too (Vancouver). There's a lot to be said for not having to mow the grass :) Love the rich greens and blues in that photo. A reflection, right? But, the water must have been unbelievably still.

  7. Wonderful point of view. Also looks like a great place to watch clouds morph into different creatures and shapes.
