Ooh.
ReplyDeleteThis is the reason I had interest in film noir some years ago. Your use of B&W is both dramatic and haunting. There are hints of two or three people but the scene could just as easily be utterly devoid of any human presence outside the cameraperson. A mysterious atmosphere. And that beam of light! It looks like a time lapse lasering all the way from the mid-60s.
Apt song lyrics. I was thinking of “8 Miles High” yesterday.
