nuts and bolts

and white mold "blossoms" adorn this rusted
old piece of railroad equipment.  It's
not pretty, but my eye (and by extension
my camera) were drawn right to it.

Shadow Shot Sunday

It's almost rush hour at the Nyugati
(i.e., Western) Railway Terminal in Budapest.
This beautiful structure was built in the 1870s
by Gustave Eiffel's company—and Eiffel's
hand is evident here, I think
(more than
decade before he built his famous tower).
