Various parts of the head, arms, and legs of the Colossus of Constantine (c. 280–387) can be seen in the courtyard of the Capitoline Museum in Rome. Those body parts were carved of marble; the rest had a brick core and wooden framework (possibly clad in gilded bronze) that didn't survive +/- 17 centuries.
