Thursday Challenge—"glass"


This is the 103-year-old, 43-meter-high
dome that caps the Galeries Lafayette, 
in Paris.  That's a lot of glass!

    I should think that Gilbert du Motier would be proud to be associated. “The Hero of Two Worlds”: In this case that of art and the mercantile.

    1. I have a friend (American) who was named for his ancestor Lafayette. Apparently young Gilbert was making love as well as war while he was here in the Colonies. :~}
