I'm back from my trip to the Arctic. Not sure you can appreciate that part of the planet unless you've been there, but I can say that I now get it. Stunning, fascinating, challenging—and full of beautiful reflections like this one. [To see more Weekend Reflections, visit James's meme.] |

ReplyDeleteSimply amazing! It's so beautiful! Definitely a bucket-list trip for me. I love cold places. :-)
Spectacularly beautiful! Looking forward to seeing more from your trip.
ReplyDeleteThere is great beauty here, but also sadness of rapidly melting ice. That blue color in the ice comes from huge compression in glaciers which are disappearing. It may already be too late to slow global warming. I did not fully appreciate your photo until I enlarged it.
ReplyDeletemerveilleux décor de glace et les reflets bleus sont ... wow... !
ReplyDeletePhantastic, what a magic place!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful blues but the stuff in the background and even on the blue corrugations themselves makes me think of urban snowfall remainders.
ReplyDeletegorgeous...I love the blue ice
ReplyDeleteI love blue ice for sure. Have been up north but not Svalbard. :)
