Even when there's no traffic (clearly, the "city that never sleeps" is the one I currently live in, not the one I just left), you stillhave to stop at all those red lights.
Considering that the first light isn’t even at a cross street but just an apparently not-at-the-moment-being-used crosswalk, that, in its way, could be as frustrating having to stop at as being stuck in rush-hour traffic. But if it was just part of a stop-and-go-rhythm maybe it wouldn’t be too bad.
