abc wednesday - L is for "Lady Liberty"

This time I'd like to thank the good people at ABC Wednesday for 
providing me with the opportunity to post yet another 
shot of this gift from France that 
I love almost as much as I do the Eiffel Tower!

    Great shot ! Quite crowded around the Lady. Almost like her little sister in Paris, she reminds me of NYC every time I drive by !

    I've actually never been ON Liberty Island, though I've seen the statue from the Staten Island ferry.

    Alexa -- A beautiful NYC shot! She gives me a thrill and I went there as a child. My grandmother lived in NYC and we visited a few times each year.

    I've spotted her from the air flying from ATL to New England (somewhere). So very cool to look down and see her!
