These little girls are playing at the edge of
the East River, at a wonderful new(ish) park
situated between the Brooklyn and Manhattan
Bridges, in DUMBO. It really wasn't that long
ago that this neighborhood was a wasteland.
Now the joint is jumpin'—with galleries and
stores and parks and restaurants and,
of course, expensive real estate
( this place is in DUMBO, btw).

That's a gorgeous shot, Alexa. I like the lighting and sparkles very much, and will check out this neighborhood next time....
ReplyDeleteThis is a great shot. So nice to hear things have changed around there so that people can enjoy their surroundings more.
ReplyDeleteLove this shot - the girls shadows against the water.
ReplyDeleteThanks, ladies!
ReplyDeleteAnd may I just say: Yay—welcome back, Marylene! Tu m'as vraiment manqué.
Bibi (and Lily) -- next time, we'll just turn left when we get off the bridge!
