Tell us how you really feel




I was corrected by an Argentine because I
referred to the Malvinas (as she called them)
as the Falklands.  But these signs in
Port Stanley, the capital, make it very clear
(and so did the locals I spoke with) just
how the people who live there feel—British
through and through.

  1. I thought this was settled by the Falklands War which England won and Argentina lost. Too bad there are still bad feelings about who controls ownership of the islands.
