ABC Wednesday—Z is for "zucchini blossoms"


I ate as many of these as I could when I was
in Italy—fried, stuffed, or both.
Bonus: I never noticed the "Eat Me, I'm Ripe"
 sign until I got home and put this
up on the computer.

Photo Hunt—"greasy"

Admittedly, there is bad greasy food.  But when you're in Bologna,
gastronomic capital of Italy, and you've been served fresh zucchini
blossoms fried in a light batter then given a squeeze of lemon juice
and a very spare dusting of sugar—trust me, that's good greasy!
