ReplyDeleteConsidering the heat wave going on in Rome these days, it is possible the fountain itself is empty right now.
I experienced dawn a few times (from the other side—not getting up at dawn) at a Tokyo “tourist” spot but I couldn’t call it empty.
They drive by so quickly, if you so much as blink it is easy to miss them up there.
