The Weekend in Black and White


I've featured this barn on my blog before.
Whenever I go down to visit my
cousins in Virginia, I like to go by here
and see what kind of shape it's in.
(P.S. It's getting more and more picturesque—
i.e., rundown, wabi sabi, shabby chic.)

    Normally that barn has a thatched roof, but it looks like some science geek in a lab hidden deep within turned on a Van de Graaff Generator

      A nice wabi sabi piece here. The article mentions the Alabama farmhouse interiors taken by Walker Evans such as the corner here, but look what else he photographed.
