It's too hot . . .


to do much of anything except chill 
(or at least try to).  Yesterday I
went out like mad dogs and Englishmen
and hiked about 5 miles in the midday
sun—and then wished I hadn't.
The actual temp was in the 90s, but 
with the humidity more like 100+.

    Oh, my. That is not even safe. We have had a cool front visiting us since Sat. afternoon. Friday's high was 111 in our town with a feels like of 116. Today's high was around 78. Hope you guys get some cool air soon.

    With no need to pound the sidewalks by foot these could make for happy dogs!
