ABC Wednesday—X is for "extraordinary extending machine"

They've been working on the Brooklyn Bridge
for years now.  Recently, I saw these guys
under the bridge.  Not sure exactly what they
were doing with this excellent piece of
equipment—I just saw X's!

Workin' on the railroad

On any given weekend, some NYC subway
line is under repair or maintenance.
That's a good thing, of course, unless it's your
station they're working in—and you
actually need to get somewhere.

Skywatch Friday

A bright blue sky.  A warm, sunny day.
A perfect time for some summer sprucing.
That's one place on the bridge that won't get
marred by graffiti the minute the paint dries!
