Peonies and hydrangeas were on display
this past May in the aptly
named Campo de' Fiori, in Rome.

Thursday Challenge—"close"

I happened by as they were planting
these hydrangeas one morning,
 and I decided to go back for a close-up.

 They're decorating a planter between
two rows of benches (with
dividers so you can't stretch out on
them) on Third Avenue.

It's all yours

When one of my Brooklyn neighbors puts something
on their fence like this, it's usually an invitation
to passersby to help themselves.  I didn't
want the painting, but I did think it added
 a nice bit of color to the stoop.
