Blue Christmas

Here's one of Saks Fifth Avenue's elegant
holiday windows—the theme: Winter Palace.
{Stayed tuned tomorrow for one of
another NYC store's holiday windows.}

Blue Monday

Every year, I post a picture of the
bluebell wood in bloom—because every
year it blows me away!

Sakura Matsuri *

* that's the Cherry Blossom Festival held every
year at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
The trees weren't yet in full bloom this past
weekend, but the weather was good
and lots of people came out to enjoy the
ambience and the entertainment.

Daffodil Hill

That's the aptly named part of the
Brooklyn Botanic Garden that's carpeted
for a while every April with hundreds
of these bright yellow blooms.

ABC Wednesday—Y is for Happy New "YEAR"

However you're ringing in the New Year
tonight, I hope your celebration is
exactly what you want it to be—whether
that means raucous revelry or quiet and classy.
(I'm going for classy revelry myself.)
Wishing you all the best in 2015!
