It goes so well with my living-room rug (“Hey! Wipe your feet <b>before</b> you come in!” ; ). In fact, for others who like the weathered look, there is always something clear in the way of waterproof spar varnish or the like. The lack of a doorknob should be no problem. Since the door is <a href="https://goo.gl/maps/jffThTgQja22" rel="nofollow">the entrance to the residences in the building</a> the door might be auto close. Keeping it looking <i>as is</i> could be a deterrent to over-curious burglars and the like.<br /><br />As an American, I can’t help wondering if a disproportional number of customers in the Bistro across the street keep getting tossed out on their ears.
